Terms and Conditions

Signup is open: there is no application, no invite code, and no approval queue. The site is built for university students in Southeast Asia, but we do not gate registration on that. You need to be old enough to agree to these terms where you live, and you must give accurate information about yourself.

One account per person. You are responsible for what happens under your account.

You keep ownership of everything you post — projects, posts, comments, images, and files. By posting it here you give us permission to store it, display it inside the community, and show it publicly on the parts of the site you have opted into making public.

You must have the right to post what you post. Do not upload other people’s work and present it as yours.

• Harassment, hate, threats, or targeting other members.
• Sexual content involving minors, or any illegal content.
• Spam, scams, engagement farming, or bulk unsolicited promotion.
• Manipulating votes, points, or the leaderboard — including running extra accounts to vote for yourself.
• Scraping, automated bulk access, or trying to break our systems or other members' accounts.
• Impersonating another person, company, or the buildtolaunch team.

We can remove content and suspend accounts that break these rules. A suspended account keeps its data but loses access to member areas.

The core of the site is free. There is an optional paid membership, billed through Gumroad, which unlocks some content and events. Payments, renewals, refunds, and cancellations are handled by Gumroad under Gumroad’s own terms — you can manage or cancel at any time from there, and access continues until the period you already paid for runs out.

We may change what the paid tier includes. If we do, it applies from the change onwards, not retroactively.

Challenges award a fixed number of points, and your builder score is calculated from your posts and completed challenges. Launch League runs in weekly rounds; likes from the community count as votes, and the week’s most-voted launch earns a place in the Hall of Champions.

Points, scores, and Hall of Champions places carry no cash value and no prize. They exist for recognition inside the community. We may adjust scores or remove entries where we find vote manipulation.

The course catalog links out to material hosted by other people. We do not host that content, we do not control it, and linking to it is not an endorsement or a partnership claim.

buildtolaunch is a small, young product. We do not promise it will be available without interruption, free of bugs, or permanently preserved. Keep your own copy of anything you would be upset to lose. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the site.

You can stop using the site at any time and ask us to delete your account — see the privacy policy for how. We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms.

When these terms change, this page changes with them and the date at the top moves. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
