A community for aspiring andactive university builders.
AI has made it easier than ever to build, but knowing where to start is still hard.Whatever you're studying — marketing, law, education, health, or something else — if you can see a problem worth solving, we want to empower you with the resources to turn your ideas into action.
Three ways people are using buildtolaunch.
You got two hundred people building in one weekend. The hard part is Monday. A free Project Space keeps your teams in one room after the venue closes, and the Launch League gives them a new deadline every week instead of one a year.
See the hackathon page →Your report needs more than a headcount. Challenges here are checked against what students actually posted and shipped, and the leaderboard only counts real people — so what you report is activity, not attendance.
See the university page →A CV tells you what someone says they can do. A builder's profile here is public and open to read with no account — their posts, the challenges they actually completed, and where they stand on the leaderboard.
See the recruiter page →Everything you need to go from idea to shipped.

Got a Vibe-a-thon idea?
If you've ever wished Locket, Spotify, or Duolingo did something better or more personal for you — now's the time to build it. Pick a product you already know, imagine what could exist around it, and build it with the vibe-coding tools of your choice.

Questions, answered.
Do I need an invite to join?
No. Signup is open — create an account and you're in. There's no application, no invite code, and no approval queue.
Is it free?
Yes. The free tier covers everything you need to start shipping. There's an optional paid membership, handled through Gumroad, that funds the content — you can manage or cancel it any time.
Where do the courses come from?
They're curated links to courses that live on other people's sites. We host no course content: the catalog is crawled weekly, each entry gets a short summary in our own words, and the link takes you to the provider.
How does the leaderboard work?
Your builder score is your posts × 10, plus the points from any challenges you've completed. There are six challenges, each worth a fixed number of points between 15 and 60.
What is Launch League?
A new board opens every Monday at 00:00 UTC. Post a launch, and likes from the community count as votes — the week's most-voted launch goes into the Hall of Champions. There are no prizes.
Who is this for?
University students across Southeast Asia — whatever you're studying, not just computer science.
